Through loose mark marking, translucent glazes, base textures and palette knife swathes of colour, Paul has created a large canvas suggesting a mediterranean seaport, a shimmering ocean, or just a sun up or a dipping evening sun. Evanescent is all about chiming colours and luscious textures of paint, where the eye can constantly discover new textures and marks. Painted in Acrylic on box canvas at 1.5 metres wide. White tray frame available on enquiry, but alternative framing can be arranged.
