Introducing Tim Evershed, Furniture Designer-Maker

Delighted to kick off the New Year by welcoming the very talented Tim Evershed into the Teer & Co fold of Designer Makers. 

Tim’s work is underpinned by the exploration of traditional craft techniques, an understanding of natural material and a modern design aesthetic that draws influence from Shaker and Danish Mid-century archetype.

Some of Tim’s products can be made to custom sizes, and he is also available for bespoke-commission projects through Teer & Co. Below is a preview of some lines that are available to order.

Below is a short video of Tim making his Era Sideboard, in collaboration with artist Jo Elbourne, a piece I particularly admire for its refined workmanship, individuality and timeless elegant design aesthetic.

Combining their respective talents in woodwork and weaving, Tim and Jo create this beautiful piece of furniture from sustainable oak and cotton braid. Their collaboration is inspired by mid-century woven rattan fronted sideboards made popular by designers such as Hans Wegner during the 1960s.
