The Pebble Chair, featured by Teer & Co
The idea of balancing stones inspired this piece by Hannah Tracy, a sustainable Maker of timber furniture, objects and sculpture. The Pebble Chair combines elements of sculpture with functional furniture to reflect feelings and sensations often associated with nature. Each pebble was carved and shaped by hand in English oak.

Looking out for our Designer-Makers and clients in projects
Working with designers throughout my career since the mid 80s I’ve seen most scenarios there could be playing out around designer-client engagement and the resulting dynamics and behaviours that are formed between them. Everything I’ve learnt about working with designers, client service, process, project management and being proactive is now poured into Teer & Co to the betterment of how custom and bespoke projects run and how we look out for both our Designer-Makers and clients by taking the middle ground and steering the proceedings.

Is your Work From Home set up supporting your wellbeing?
It seems WFH really could be here to stay for many of us. This article published by Fast Company claims ‘the office as we know it is over - and that’s a good thing’. 2021 will apparently be the year we finally get to enjoy the true benefits of the remote work revolution. Investing in and surrounding ourselves with wood furnishings is one way to help create a healthier built and home environment. Bringing the outdoors in really does naturally benefit our wellbeing.
