New for 2022: ACOUSTIC Series 3D Wall Panels
You may be familiar with the beautiful 2D and 3D Wall Panels we offer through our Collection that bring warmth, nature and wellbeing into residential and commercial spaces.
The makers of these popular and sustainably-sourced wall panels, Form At Wood, have been working tirelessly on a research and development project since 2020 in cooperation with the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The aim was to develop special wooden panels and appropriate material combinations that ensure the best possible acoustic properties to improve the quality and comfort of commercial and residential interiors.
We’re delighted to announce that the ACOUSTIC Series has now launched and is available to order through Teer & Co.
Acknowledging the cooperation with an amazing headline research institute and eminent people in the field of acoustics, the ACOUSTIC Series guarantees scientific confirmation and quality proof of the working of acoustic properties.
The main objective was to create products that will help with the ubiquitous problem of reducing reverberation in the interiors - wooden panels have the appropriate sound absorption class to fix this problem. The actual outcome to this work has far exceeded expectations given the ACOUSTIC Series has managed to achieve the highest class of sound absorption - class A.
ACOUSTIC Series Models
Working on the development in specially adapted rooms, Form At Wood have created three acoustic models that are now available to order in Oak (C04 Natural colour) as follows:
ACOUSTIC Series Properties
Form At Wood managed to obtain two classes of sound absorption:
Class D for the HEXAGO CM-D model, and Class A for the HEXAGO CM-A and HEXAGO P-A models.
Both product series have slightly different acoustic properties:
HEXAGO CM-D (class D) is perfect for sound absorption of lower frequencies (125-800Hz).
HEXAGO CM-A and HEXAGO P-A (class A) are best for higher frequencies (250-5000Hz).
