The Knolton is a beautifully minimal and elegant storage box made with outer casing in English Fumed Oak, Ebonised Oak ripple textured top and subtle brass detailing and hinges with the inner lined in English Cherry to contrast.

In July 2021 we were approached by interior designers Olivia Outred to make a custom version of the standard Conholt Desk in oak (shown above) for their private client in St John’s Wood, London.

So the custom project team comprised the interior designers Olivia Outred and their private client, and ourselves to coordinate the custom order with furniture designer-maker Tim Evershed.

It seems WFH really could be here to stay for many of us. This article published by Fast Company claims ‘the office as we know it is over - and that’s a good thing’. 2021 will apparently be the year we finally get to enjoy the true benefits of the remote work revolution. Tim’s work is underpinned by the exploration of traditional craft techniques, an understanding of natural material and a modern design aesthetic that draws influence from Shaker and Danish Mid-century archetype.

When COVID-19 hit, our homes became our offices and for some of us our kitchen tables became our new work desks. INGRID is a custom-made piece of furniture that was launched to support those of us working from home who want their home to still feel like home, even though for so many of us our home has become the office.
